I'm helping Fritz Friedman--Senior Vice President - Worldwide Publicity Columbia TriStar--a bit to help benefit the Filipino American Library. Fritz is Filipino and very active in the community. He is on the board of the FilAm Library.

They are holding THE FILIPINO AMERICAN LIBRARY GALA, on October 14th 2006. It is a dinner benefit gala which includes the 6th Annual Spirit Awards. It is a special celebration commemorating the 100 years since the first Filipino migrant workers arrived in America.

If you want to attend the Gala or simply want to make a tax deductible donation that will benefit the FILIPINO AMERICAN LIBRARY, let me know and I'll e-mail you the proper information.
